About Tienda-holics...
I created Tienda-holics on eBay in 1997 and tiendaholics.com a year later. At that time, I was the only one listing TIenda Ho's Moroccan line on eBay, very few people knew of them at all. It took listing three times for anyone to finally notice... and the rest is history!
What I understood immediately from the hunger evoked by the dozen or so pieces per month I listed back then that there is a great need for fabulous, unique clothing, especially for zaftig women, across the country and around the world. Besides being the "yummiest clothes on the planet" and so well-made that (with proper care, mais ouì!) these garments last for decades, I've come to understand that what I offer is "self-esteem" clothing—if we look fabulous we feel fabulous... if we respect ourselves, our bodies, we live the goddess we are!
My customer base includes bookkeepers and buddhists, professionals and pagans, ministers and musicians, church choirs, global dance troupes; I've dressed brides and bridesmaids and the occasional groom (looking for unisex styles? Email for suggestions!) and have huge fun providing stage costumes as well. So many are painters, writers, belly-dancers and performers, but by far jewelry makers make up my the largest group. Healers and wiccans, the young and pregnant as well as the wise and ever-young celebrating their cronings...
I love my job!
I am thrilled to have created a Tienda-holics "culture" I call "Susti Heaven" that's grown in leaps and bounds, much more vigorously than I could ever have imagined. I never expected to become the Susti Goddess, or a retailer of any kind for that matter! I've had to re-invent myself in order to pursue my new goal: to share the "susti love" from small-town Oklahoma to Finland and Japan, it's my honor to send these treasures all around the globe!
I'm an artist and designer and all my life I have expressed myself by what I wear. I haven't worn jeans since I travelled throughout the Middle East and North Africa, including Morocco, when I was 18. I have about 30 pairs of Moroccan pants and they're the only style I own.
I specialize in Moroccan garments because they are so wildly exquisite to wear, like individual art pieces, and because their styles are truly designed with every woman in mind. The quality of these Moroccan collections is extraordinary... if they weren't, I wouldn't be here, I couldn't do this. Perhaps the best feature is not the susti (blasphemy?), and not the fabulous styles but their timeless, "sizeless" quality... and they're durable and long-wearing—everything I offer should journey with you on your adventures in weight change: gain 20 pounds, lose 20; keep you beautiful and comfortable before, during and after pregnancy; and be as head-turning in a decade from now as they were a decade ago. Who could ask for more?
I love when you all share yourselves and your stories with me, and nothing could delight me more than just how many of you—in so many far-flung places—are now beautiful threads woven into my life. Who imagined us all interacting online like this? Stunning. And the common bond we seem to have—we women attracted by the beauty and comfort and uniqueness of these garments—is a fundamental desire to express ourselves in everything we do.
I adore my Tiendaholics... each and every one a gorgeous, spirited goddess, creative in her bones and fearless in her choices. As it should be.
About Dairi and Susti...
The deliriously soft susti* cloth produced by a small cultural textile house in the ancient Moroccan city of Fez came to the attention of Danish designer Laise Adzer some 35-40 years ago. Adzer worked with them exclusively for her designs until her death in 1998. Still owned and operated by the same family, Dairi continues to represent both the fine garments and the original design catalog of Ms. Adzer, continuing the tradition of quality associated with both of these names.
Dairi's catalog currently includes hundreds of styles, the lion's share of which are the original patterns of the now-fabled Laise Adzer. I am both excited and proud to offer as many of these unique global designs as I am able, to all the free-thinking, wild-spirited, self-expressing women around the world who visit tiendaholics on eBay and my exclusive store at tiendaholics.com.
(*Sometimes spelled susde, susdi, sousdi, or sousde, because it is transliterated from the Arabic.)

How will I know if something will fit me?
Please note that styles vary slightly in size from garment to garment, so be sure to always check the measurements listed and refer to the size chart below. If you are uncertain whether something might fit you, don't hesitate to call or email me! I encourage you to ask as many questions as you need in order to make educated decisions.
My Tiendaholics Sizing Chart
The clothing I offer is FREE SIZE or ONE SIZE and most will fit and look best on most of us size medium to 4X; a few will just be too roomy on size 6 figures and others just won't quite acquiesce to the voluptuousness of 5X... but many will!
I offer this chart as a LOOSE GUIDE ONLY as, again, all styles are ONE SIZE. With all of my Moroccan styles, MEASUREMENTS count, size does not.
| **all measurements stated in inches** |
| Size | Dress Size | Bust | Waist | Hips |
| Sm | 4-6 | 32-34 | 23-25 | 34-36 |
| Med | 8-10 | 34-36 | 25-28 | 36-39 |
| Lg | 12-14 | 37-40 | 28-32 | 39-42 |
| XL | 14-16 | 39-43 | 32-34 | 42-44 |
| 1X | 16-18 | 40-44 | 34-37 | 44-47 |
| 2X | 20-22 | 45-48 | 37-40 | 47-50 |
| 3X | 22-24 | 48-51 | 40-43 | 50-53 |
| 4X | 24-26 | 51-54 | 43-46 | 53-56 |
Again, all susti garments on this site are labeled "free size" and not only fit from small to plus sizes, but are designed to LOOK gorgeous on us all as well. I might mention a particular style could fit, for example, a 5X... but only you know what your measurement needs are—no two women are the same, so if your bust measures 56 inches but your hips are 72, be certain to check bottom width measurements as well!
Women with narrower waistlines look fabulous with the flowier tops cinched at the waist with sashes and belts; most of the styles are made to drape beautifully either way.
If we look good, we feel good, and that is, after all, the first step in the right direction... whatever that direction might be!
